| Biography: | Hi, I am 49 years old. My grandmother, Dalsie Trivitt King is the daughter of Sylvester Trivitt and resided in Missouri and Arkansas. She married Theodore King and had two children, Norma and John King. Sylvester, a farmer and minister, moved his family to California in the 1920's when his farm was purchased by the government for a dam project (or so the story goes). My grandmother was one of 9 or 10 children including Snowda, Ophelia, Lucille, Dalsie, Neive, Maxine, George, and a few others whose names escape me. My grandmother Dalsie was born in 1912 and is now almost 90 and still alive. The Trivitts are a hardy breed! I would love to hear from other Trivitts and hope someday to travel to Arkansas and Missouri to the old family cemeteries. |
